Tzedakah Boxes

One of the most important Jewish creeds is called "Tikkun Olam"  which means "repairing the world." Many Jewish families keep a Tzedakah (a Hebrew word meaning righteousness, fairness, or justice) box in their home to collect and donate to organizations close to their heart periodically. Tzedakah boxes can take many shapes and sizes, and are often gifted to children to as a lesson to give joyfully, community leaders as a thank you for their generosity, or for any commemorative or special occasion.
